Five tips for leakage treatment of electric control valve
1、 Add sealing grease method; this method is for the valve body that has not used sealing grease, it can be considered to add sealing grease to improve the sealing performance of the valve stem. In daily maintenance of electric control valve, adding sealing grease is also one of the necessary maintenance procedures.
2、 Change the flow direction and place P2 at the valve stem end method; when △ P is larger and P1 is larger, it is obviously difficult to seal P1 than seal P2. Therefore, the electric regulating valve can adopt the method of changing the flow direction, and change P1 to P2 at the stem end, which is more effective for the valve with high pressure and large pressure difference. For example, the corrugated tube valve should usually consider sealing P2.
3、 The sealing method of lens gasket is adopted; for the sealing of upper and lower cover, the sealing between the valve seat and the upper and lower valve body. If it is plane seal, the sealing performance is poor under high temperature and high pressure, which causes leakage, the lens gasket of electric regulating valve can be used to seal, and the satisfactory effect can be obtained.
4、 Add packing method; usually in the form of double or multi-layer mixed packing, simply increase the number of sealing gasket, such as increasing 3 pieces to 5 pieces, to improve the sealing performance of the valve stem, but the leakage prevention effect of the electric control valve is not very obvious.
5、 It is the method of replacing graphite packing; a large number of four fillers are used, and its applicable working temperature is within the range of -20-200 ℃. When the working temperature changes greatly at the upper and lower limit, the sealing performance of the electric regulating valve is obviously reduced, and the aging is fast and the service life is short. Flexible graphite packing is recommended here to overcome the difficulty that four packing can not bear, and has long service life, so as to improve the reliability of the seal. Many factories have changed the four packing into graphite packing, and even the newly purchased control valve has changed the four packing into graphite packing. However, graphite packing also has a disadvantage, that is, large return difference and crawling phenomenon at the beginning. Therefore, manufacturers and users should also consider it when designing and installing electric control valve equipment.
